Plans for Healer LFG

huh1.jpgWell after proving my “nerd factor” yesterday by posting lots of numbers and percentages regarding haste, thought it would be nice to post something more personal for any new readers here.

I am new to this whole blog thing so I will probably continue to start off with more guide type stuff to ease myself into it :)

One thing you should know about me, I am terrible at math! So while I am sure some of the information I post will be available elsewhere I will try and explain it in a way that is helpful to those who have a hard time putting all the formulas and tables out there into information they can use (like me!).

Understanding the mechanics can only take you so far, however, so I hope to touch on other things involved with raiding, 5 mans, pvp and of course the social aspect of the game which is just as much a part of WoW as hitting all the right keys at all the right times and sometimes much harder to manage.

I’ll tie this up with some information about my characters, for those that are curious:

Brelaine : My druid and my main. Brelaine actually started out as an alt but I fell in love with the class. I leveled resto, this was back when you did around the same damage no matter what spec you leveled. I also had my brothers and my husband to help me catch up to them when I switched to my druid. They have since rerolled horde on a different server, but I had become too attached to my druid at that point. I enjoy respeccing moonkin or feral from time to time and me trying to OT Karazhan is always amusing to my guildies

Bevyn : My paladin and my first character. I leveled Bevyn all the way to level 54 before switching to my druid. This was at a time when no one was quite sure what to do with paladins other than have them cleanse and cast buffs every five minutes. Due to itemization, they definitely did not have the healing power they do now and I discovered while leveling this was the aspect of the class I enjoyed most which is when I switched to my druid. I didn’t touch Bevyn until after the expansion when I finally decided to level to 70. The style of healing is so opposite of my druid its a nice change and I mostly play Bevyn in arenas and Karazhan runs when I am in the mood for a change.

Melaka : My blood elf priest, the product of my brothers and husband moving to the horde side of things. One of the things I enjoyed most about playing WoW was spending time with my brothers. I had tried a couple of times to roll a character to play with them and Melaka was the final success. I really enjoy the utility aspect of the class . I do as much as I can on my priest, Karazhan, SSC, TK, but mostly pvp with my brothers and husband.

Vespaa : The baby of the group and my shaman. Vespaa is only 65 at the moment. I got to give a try healing as a shaman on one of our Black Temple a couple months ago and I had a lot of fun. That gave me the motivation to finally level one. Well, that and the change to 20-60 leveling. I am leveling 60-70 elemental and having a lot of fun with it. I think I would like to stay elemental for pvp and do some healing in pve, we shall see.
