RestoCalc

calclogo.gifSeveral Months ago Hydrar posted his spreadsheet on the Druid Forums. I have since been keeping it updated for myself. With all the changes in patch 2.4 and having a venue to make it available I decided to share my work.

How it Works

The best place to start is by entering your talents in the Talents Sheet. Then you can move on to the “Current Gear” sheet, “PvP Gear” sheet or the “Wish List” gear sheet.

As you enter your gear, gems and enchants you will see your stats change at the top of the sheet.

Each Item has a custom stat adjustment, where you can enter an unlisted enchant or adjust an item, enchant or gem to match one that may not be listed in the sheet.
Special Notes:

  • Red Cells - If a cell shows up red it means 1 of 3 things. Either you tried to enter too many gems for that item, you have more or less than 61 talents entered, or you have both a flask and elixir active.
  • Blue Cells - Blue Cells are were you can manually enter adjustments to see how they will effect your stats

Who is RestoCalc For

All base stats are based on a level 70 Druid, Tauren or Nightelf. I tried to include as much gear as possible without making it too overwhelming or cluttered. Each drop down is sorted by Item Level.

The items listed are mostly available from level 65+ all the way to Sunwell with a few exceptions for exceptional items :) I tried to include only healing items. While I know some may use damage/healing items until a replacement becomes available including everything would have made the sheet cumbersome to use.

If I receive enough requests for a particular item it will go in with the next update. Send requests to: healerlfg@gmail.com

This a beta version for WoW Patch 2.4. I hope you all will help me get a solid version out for when the patch goes live by reporting any major bugs or flaws.

  • Haste added, as well as cast time for all Spells
  • Innervate estimate + weapon swap/bangle of endless blessings option
  • Old Items Updated, New Items Added
  • Added Sheets for 3 sets of gear, Current, PvP and Wish List.
  • Updated Nurting Instinct from str>agi
  • Added Socket Options for Rings

Known Issues : Please email me with any bugs.

  • Socket Bonuses: If an item has 3 sockets and the colors are fulfilled by 2 gems, the bonus will be granted. Also applies to 2 socket items where the colors are fulfilled. Example: 1 red, 1 blue socket. Place 1 Royal Nightseye (red/blue) Sheet will consider the socket bonus granted.
  • Tranquility Tick: This number appears to be off by 1%. I’ve checked it a ridiculous amount of times and have had other people check it, all arriving at the same number. Once I discover the mystery of gettingt he correct number, I will update it. For now, it will be slightly less than it should be. If you know a tried and true formula please email me.

To-Do

  • Add Socket Options for Offhands, none available yet but I am sure there will be some day.
  • Think of a way to make the Gem Drop Down Lists more user friendly. They are a pain to use. Especially if you are experimenting with Gems and are not sure what each gem prefix means.
  • Adjust the top section to be more space friendly, to also allow more room for additional calculations. Feedback on overall space available and layout requested.
  • Adjust the “Trinket” Section to include procs and be more intuitive. Right now it will combine two activated trinkets if you have them equipped which in most cases isn’t possible.
  • Add Comparision Sheet, to easily compare gear sets.

Wish List : Please email me with any requested features and I will update this list accordingly.

  • HPM/HPS Calc? thoughts?

Disclaimer

I am not an excel expert. This is actually the most advanced project with excel I’ve attempted. So there may be bugs, things that should be part of a calculation that were left out. Due to all the changes in patch 2.4 I had to rebuild a lot of the formulas and relationships from scratch. It was a big project but I felt it was worth it for such a valuable tool.

SO, I hope you will help me by reporting bugs to:
healerlfg@gmail.com

That includes any typos or stat mistakes, this was mostly a late night project for me so I am sure there are a few :)

I plan to update the sheet monthly with any requests, bug fixes until all the kinks are worked out and then obviously with each major patch.
